Sports Day is a big event in the calendar at Martlesham Primary Academy. The children complete field events such as the standing jump, bean bag throw and foam javelin throw before competing in a range of races, earning points for their house team. The House Captain and Vice House Captain lead their houses by giving speeches at the start and end of the day and providing support, encouragement and motivation to the younger children.

The 2023 Sports Day was won by Phoenix.
